Gretchen Blatz, of WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife, counted 6 nests at the west-side site, plus one partially built nest that was abandoned. This count may not be accurate because there is a lot of ivy obscuring the trees, though she has gone out there and girdled it.

She said "only" six, but six nests seems like a lot, for such a small, urbanized woodlot.
